Growing up in the outdoors has been my whole up bringing. My Father raised me to be an outdoor sportsman and my love for the outdoors has been one great enjoyment with my family and friends. Since I was about 14 years old, I began hunting dove and snipe. Around 16, I began my duck hunting career. Lead shot was still legal.  The need for a Duck Dog grew from me not wanting to wade in the water after all my ducks and cripples getting away and also the need to find lost snipe amoung the marsh grasses. I have always been around dogs and my love for dogs is still very strong; no matter what kind of dog.  I LOVE DOGS! I began guiding in the marshes of Florida where I grew up in Airboats and Mud Boats duck hunting. While hunting with my clients, they often offered me money for my own trained Lab, but I turned them down. I often offered to help them or train a dog if they had one, but the demand kept growing. That is where the need for puppies came and my Wife Shelli was there to start up the puppy end of the business. We now had puppies so we could train them and sell them.  The rest is history..... I have been running dogs for over 22 years; starting in 1985 just out of high school. My love for dogs and teaching people how to hunt and run a dog is what I enjoy. I do hunt Deer and other species, but my first love is watching my dog flush or fetch a bird I have shot down. To shoot something is one thing but to appreciate a good mannered gun dog is a whole understanding of the sport of bird hunting. I try so hard to get my clients to enjoy the dog not what or how much they can shoot or kill.  Being closer to a lot more States and close to the Mississippi Flyway has increased how many more dogs I train yearly and puts me in the heart of where I need to be for my clients. I am a full time Professional Lab Trainer and I hope to continue my career.  My love for Labs will always be dear to my heart until I am gone.  My love for my family and the support they give me to hunt and run dogs is what keeps me going strong. If not for the love of Family and Labs, I would be lost.  Until my final delivery to hand, I will keep training labs and loving my family.

I want to thank my father for all he did. I am who I am because of him. We lost our father March 27, 2007...I miss my hunting buddy! The week before he left us I was able to call in a Big Eastern Gobbler for him to take and it was the last hunt we had together. I shot my first animal with him as a child...he shot his last with me. My dad and I will one day hunt again. Thank you Dad for taking the time to take me outdoors!!!
