Upland Hunts

*Full day bird hunts, clay package and lodging call for info. We can handle up to 8 hunters.
*Any birds cleaned and bagged will be a fee of .75 per bird added to total hunt fees.
*Extra birds shot over limit are free, we do not charge for additional birds we might happen to flush and you shoot. We like to keep it hunting not you counting up extra bird fees like other places.
*Guides will work hard to produce a limit but it is walk hunting and shooting abilities vary so each hunt is limited to 2 1/2 hours. *We hunt old style, good ole, walk hunting and working close to good gun dogs. Wear good boots and some chaps are a plus. We will take drink breaks and we do not hurry the hunt. You are here to relax and have fun.
*I also do this in the summer for Clients wanting to come to my dog school and work their dogs on live birds and shooting. So call me for more information on getting live real one on one dog training and shooting lessons over live birds. It's just like your hunting. Around here we never quit training and shooting birds. It's 12 months out of the year. We just start early AM in the summer and late in the evenings and go over dog problems mid day in the A/C. Come join the fun. We have EXCELLENT flying birds always!!!
Upland Hunts that are canceled less than 48 hours in advance by the customer deposit is non refundable and or deposit is owed for booking out dates and paid to Puddle Duck Labs no exceptions.Deposit will be refunded if Guide cancels hunt.
Four men 48 birds $175 per gun includes clay warm up and drinks (Two men can still pay for four and shoot 48 birds). Regular two man hunt is 25 birds $195 per gun each hunt is a half day hunt, either AM or PM. Call ahead to book a hunt.

- Dogs provided, we use flushing dogs, birds fly very strong and fast
- Hunters can use their own dog and receive some training tips during the hunt
- We offer this year around upland experience for upland hunters and people wanting to make their dogs better at upland hunting. This will enable you to use your dog year around and not let them get rusty. You are guaranteed shots and fun with great eating birds. No sitting around and waiting for birds, this game is action packed.
Unguided hunting / Dog training live birds
If you prefer to hunt your dogs alone or train your dog on live birds alone year round we will set your field with birds prior to your arrival and you can train or hunt on our great fields with cover alone. The field can be used per half day booking Morning or Afternoon.
24 Birds set min two man Max for $200
$75 for each addt'l person added to the 2 man group(4 people Max on Fields at all times)
$6.25 for each addt'l bird set after 24 birds must be pre ordered.
Clay warm up $35 addt'l per 100 clays per party used (Not per person).
