DUCK HUNTS 
Come enjoy a quality duck hunt and hunt out of a super comfortable blind and dogs ramps to work and run dogs off . We like to shoot ducks in the decoys and enjoy what duck hunting is all about. The blind is super nice and no wadders needed to duck hunt. A quality duck hunt is what it is truly about from the ducks committing to your decoys and good dogs working and picking up ducks and spending great time making memories with friends and family.If you would like to get in on a duck hunt I would strongly suggest pre booking to get in and hunt with us our hunts go fast. We have excellent titled dogs Nationally and State duck calling placements so we know how to do it right, but we encourage less than perfect shooting and dogs in the blind to get help and you enjoy your hunt after all it is your hunt so come climb in the blind  and hunt our flooded timber swamp pond  this season and enjoy a hunt !!!!!

Season
Our season Starts in September for Mallards and flows into the regular Federal season then continues on into May. We enforce that you have your hunting license and stamps during the regular waterfowl season and steel shot so that other species may be taken along with the mallards in our swamp. If hunting Mallards with us then no license is needed we hold a dog trainers lic with the State.We get ocassionally Teal ,Woodies and Canada Geese too. You are going to have a opportunity at a Mallard limit with us on the hunt but if you take other ducks that frequent our swamp you will get only 6 ducks total on a hunt. You may take 3 Hens and 3 Drakes in mallards.
Duck hunt prices
$265 per man per 6 duck limit per hunt (2 man hunt min 6 max), you will also receive coffee and a lunch or brunch following the hunt. A deposit of 50% is require per man to reserve spot non refundable once received and booked.
Lodging
There  is a local B&B lodge or local hotels that is just min from the blind and tons of local food in a college town.

You can go to You - Tube and type in Puddle Duck Labs Swamp Mallards and see our timber pond and ducks coming in and out of the blind in the back of the video.

We also can offer Upland Quail hunt or a EXCELLENT TROPHY whitetail hunt with bucks in the 145 to 175 class range to fill the afternoon with more excitement. These hunts must be pre booked as well when calling.



Things you must bring

 Shotgun prefer 12 ga improved cylinder choke tube
Plenty of shotgun shells 2 3/4" or 3 "steel shot #2 #4 shot preferred.
Full Camouflage cold weather gear (No Wadders plush dry blind )
Duck Calls of all types, calling is a must to pull them down in ,we can assist if needed !
Your retriever's welcome we are Gun dog professionals and its your hunt to enjoy and we will help in training advice !
